Liverpool Are Shocking

Earlier today, we saw one of the worst managed games I've seen in my entir
e 9 years watching this sport and supporting this club. The 5 behind it are all from this season as well. What is the genuine point of even playing Gakpo anymore? We are going to breakdown what this clueless manager has done to my mental health, why
he keeps starting a foward who can't do anything on the ball apart from cut inside, why he won't start the best wonderkid we have had at this club since Trent Alexander Arnold and what needs to change.
Why is Slot struggling so much?
Liverpool had the perfect start to the season, 7/7 to season and looking like we were going to go Back to Back. However there were a few obvious cracks, Florian Wirtz wasn't at his best, we won 6/7 games on a last minute winner and we were shocking for most parts of the games. We thought the signing of Alexander Isak would flip this but he wasn't even our best striker. Our best striker was Hugo Ekitike one of our big money moves in the summer who had opened the season Brilliantly with 5 G/A in his 7 games for the club.
Then the season got absolutely flipped on it's head coming out of the Southampton game in the Carabao Cup, We would be missing Hugo Ekitike due him being booked twice against Southampton. We were away at Selhurst Park playing Palace. We lost 2-1 and Isak looked dreadful. One standout was Federico Chiesa who is a key point on me writing this.
After this loss to palce it kickstarted a 4 game losing streak. Losing to the likes of Chelsea, Galatasaray and Manchester United. Mind you we lost in the last minute to Chelsea, Palace and United.
Things then started to look up as we battered Frankfurt 5-1 with Florian Wirtz, Ekitike and Szoboszlai looking like our best players like they had all season.
This bright spark was then put out immediately as we then lost to Brentford, Palace, City, Forest and PSV all on the bounce. However there was a young prospect starting to catch the media's eye. His name, Rio Ngumoha. He already scored the winner against newcastle and had shined in the cup matches he played in. We will get deeper into him in a moment.
We had a nice win this patch against Real Madrid. We the year off quite nicely going on a 13 game unbeaten streak. This also saw a surgence in Florian Wirtz who had 6 G/A in this run.
Then we lost another last minute winner to Bournemouth. We then had 2 extremely dominant performances; something we had been missing all season scoring 10 and only conceding 1.
This was then Chucked out the window as we lost to city. This was when fans seriously started to question was Slot suited for the job?
After a 4 game win streak scraping by in a lot of these games, we proceeded to lose to Wolves. A team that had less points than a triangle not even 2 months earlier. This was when the entire fan base turned on Slot.
We did end up beating them on the Friday, but then we lost to Galatasary in Champions league Round of 16.
On the Sunday after, We played Tottenham, They hadn't had a win or draw under new under new manager Igor Tudor. We drew 1-1.
Slot was then booed out of the sadium and deflected it to his players. While we got an extremely good win again Gala. in the 2nd leg. We had a chance to capitalise on United drawing.
Ekitike got injured 5 minutes in and he had the option to bring on Chiesa or Ngumoha. Do you know which one he brought on? Curtis Jones, now I love Curtis Jones but when a stiker get injured you do not bring on a Midfielder. My Grandma could tell you that and she knows nothing about football.
Then, an hour in, we are losing 2-1 and have looked slow up top all day. He finally decides to release Rio. However, instead of bringing off Gakpo who was extremely slow all day; He brought off Frimpong, our fastest player.
Our team was dominated by a 40 year old James Milner and 35 year old Danny Welbeck.
But it's not like we haven't won games this season cause we have, we have just been really boring to watch. At least under Klopp, when we lost we were really exciting to watch.
Why does he refuse to drop Gakpo?
Over the entire season, Cody Gakpo has looked a complete shadow of himself from the last couple seasons. Gakpo was adored by the Liverpool supporters. This season, he has been horrendous. Yet, Slot refuses to drop him. People do not understsnd why. Rio Ngumoha looks like the better player all round. However, I can see why Slot is scared to drop him after what happened with salah earlier in the season. But This still remains unclear to me why.
Why Doesn't he want to start Ngumoha?

This season, Rio Ngumoha has looked unreal. He has played out of his skin all season yet Slot has refused to start him. I think it's because of what happened with players like Jack Wilshere or Theo Walcott who burst on to the scene too quick and were burned out early in their careers. Yet again this is still unclear to me.
What needs to change at Liverpool?
In my personal opinion, I think the manager should change. We have got Xabi Alonso on the market who has said himself he only wants Liverpool. He also knows how to get the best out of Wirtz and Frimpong unlike Slot. His system will fit our team perfectly with Jeremie Janquet coming in this summer.
Now, I want to share with the opinion of the man who has seen Liverpool win 3 Champions League's, he has seen 5 League titles in his entire lifetime and has seen the likes of John Barnes, Robbie Fowler, Micheal Owen, Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Bobby Firmino, Virgil Van Dijk, Luis Suarez, Phil Coutiniho and most importantly Markovic play for this club, My Dad "I am not sure where to start obviously the horrific death of Diogo had a huge impact on our preseason. However the fall off started a year ago. With the league all but won, a bad League cup final and an unlucky loss to PSG on penalties we never really recovered in the league. The stats show the press has stopped almost entirely which was a staple of Liverpool well before Jurgen Klopp arrived. We look slow stale and flat and it cannot all be put on the overhaul of the squad. Typically Liverpool are great in the market but I feel we too much too soon and didn’t address all the key areas. If Slot has Liverpool playing dynamic and entertaining football we could probably see light at the end of the tunnel. It’s been 12 months of stale slow boring showings and I don’t see how he stays in charge for next season no matter how it finishes in May"
