With it being a big break in F1 and me not publishing anything in this I think we predict the driver lineups for each team.
Mercedes
George Russell: After the start to the season they would be completely stupid to not resign either driver. The title fight will probably be with Kimi, George and maybe Lewis or Charles if they start winning race
Kimi Antonelli: Same reason as George you can’t kick off a driver for winning races. I can see Kimi staying here for a long time if he this good at 19.
Ferrari:
Charles Leclerc: If Charles Leclerc was ever going to leave Ferrari it would not be this season. He has finally been given a good car and if they do fall behind they will have a good gap in the constructors to be 2nd or 1st.
Lewis Hamilton: I can’t see Lewis retiring until after next season . He seems so much happier than he was last season and if was going to retire anytime it would have been last year after the historic downfall of his career which seems like it’s not happening now.
McLaren:
Lando Norris: I can’t see Lando going anywhere until maybe the last few years of his career. But he has been one of the drivers that are extremely vocal about the regulations but lots of drivers have threatened to leave but I can’t see lando being one.
Leonardo Fornaroli: The F2 champion was in a bit a situation last year where there were no seats left at any team. He was then signed McLaren as a reserve driver but I think his chance will be next year in a blockbuster driver change.
Red Bull
Oscar Piastri: The former McLaren driver has been brought up quite a lot in conversations about who will replace Max Verstappen if he leaves the sport. I believe Max will leave and join GT3 racing as he has been doing that for a year around the Nurburgring. Christian Horner was extremely fond of him and I'll surprised if they go any other way.
Isack Hadjar: The Frenchman has been in the sport for a year and a bit now and he has out qualified Max multiple times more than any driver since 2023. He is the perfect driver for that second seat and I hope Red Bull have learned from their mistakes and build the second driver a decent car.
Williams
Alex Albon: The Thai driver should probably leave Williams but he been through way too much with them just to leave like that. I think we all face the fact that he will always drive for Williams until the end of his career.
Luke Browning: The guy has been in the sport way too long not to already have a seat and I think he will get his chance now. I'll get onto why I think Carlos will not stay in a second but | think he deserves a chance since he has been in F2 for about 15 years now.
Racing Bulls
Arvid Lindblad: While 1 do think he deserves a Red Bull seat; I think he's too inexperienced to have it. I know Hadjar got it after a year but I think a through cracks will start to show his inexperience. This is not a diss to him at all as I love his driving style and the amount of personality he brings to the grid. So I think he will have his shot in 2 more seasons.
Nikola Tsolov: I think Red Bull will finally give him his shot in F1 next year. He was in F3 and F4 for a year and I think it will be the same for F2. I think the Red Bull ship has sailed for him after the embarrassing 2 races in 2025. This season is not an audition for Red Bull. It's 's a plea to stay in F1.
Aston Martin
Liam Lawson: His plea worked out in the end as he will get another chance in F1. I think he is the perfect fit to replace Fernando Alonso as he now has a kid and has been quoted saying "I would never have kids as it will take my focus away from F1" so I think he is done.
Jak Crawford: While I do think he's not fit for a F1 seat what other choice do Aston Martin have.
They have a terrible car and an atrocious engine no one wants to go there. I think he will only do 1/2 of a season before being sacked off for someone else.
Haas
Ollie Bearman: He will get a Ferrari seat but not yet. As soon as Lewis Retires that seat is all his and no one is stopping him from getting that seat. He is my favorite driver and I know he will have some great opportunities in the future but he will have to wait a bit like Lindblad.
Yuki Tsunoda: We all thought he was done and dusted in the sport. But, he was very lucky that there is still Japanese sponsors on the grid in TGR. I believe he is a great driver and was in a terrible situation at Red Bull and you could see how good he was after that tenure at RB. So l will have at least a season until Begovic or Cámara come in and start to help Ferrari develop drivers like the Red Bull family.
Audi
Carlos Sainz: The Spaniard is probably not very happy with Williams at the minute since they screwed him over first half of last season and appear to be doing the same this season. I think Audi are in the exact same situation that Williams were in when he first joined. Nico Hulkenburg will probably retire after this year season. What else can he fight for? We got his first ever podium last and won’t be challenging for race wins any time soon. I think Carlos will work well in this team and I hope he can get more podiums.
Gabriel Bortoleto: The Brazilian has shown some glimpses during his time in F1 and I can him getting the McLaren seat if the Fornaroli project doesn’t work. I think Gabi has the potential to win multiple championships but he needs a big team to do. While I do think Audi can be that it will take a few years and the question is can he wait a few years?
Alpine
Pierre Gasly: He probably won’t leave leave until his contract is up even though he should. He is probably one of if not the best driver on the grid and deserves moves to the Top 4 teams. But the running theme in article seems to be patience which is the same Gasly.
Alex Dunne: Colapinto is no where near what he was meant to be. He had glimpses like in China but they are not what alpine need. Alex Dunne left McLaren to hopefully try and a shot at F1 and it seems as though his shot will come soon.
Cadillac
Sergio Perez: He will see out his contract. There is not much to write home about here. He does have a chance to Red Bull that they made a choice and they will pay for their mistakes. He will be a main focus point in one of my upcoming articles but I won’t put that point out just yet.
Colton Herta: While I don’t know that much about him I heard that they will want to put him in a seat and he’s 26 so the time to do that is running low since he’s old for a rookie.
But this is the end of the article and Let’s quickly round it up: At Merc we Kimi and George, At Ferrari we have Lewis and Charles, at McLaren we Fornaroli and Lando, at Red Bull we have Oscar and Isack, at Williams we Browning and Albon, At RB we Arvid and Tsolov, At Aston Martin we have Liam and Crawford, at Haas we have Ollie and Yuki, At Audi we have Carlos and Gabi, At Alpine we have Dunne and Gasly and at Cadillac we have Perez and Herta
I want to end this by saying I will have articles up daily now so be ready.
