Last Night, Mo Salah confirmed that he would leave Liverpool after 8 glorious seasons at this club. When he first joined this club he was a Chelsea reject, he leaves as one of if the greatest wingers in Premier League history. I’m going to breakdown what will happen at Liverpool, What will Salah do and how much he meant to the club.
Last night, everyone received the news that we knew would come one day but not so soon. One of the greatest players this club has ever seen is leaving. This almost feels like the death of a family member. I guess that shows what he meant. I always thought after 2019 when we won the Champions League that Mo Salah would retire as a red. That became even stronger after he signed the contract that became even stronger. But I spent most of last night remembering everything Mo had done for the club.
We could start seeing Federico Chiesa, Rio Ngumoha or Kieran Morrison start getting minutes as every game is an audition for Arne Slot or if Slot gets sacked then Xabi Alonso. But I expect to see us sign a Winger. We could also see Mo salah play quite a lot of minutes due this basically being his farewell tour. We could see Liverpool bring in a new winger. However, 5 years ago we would bring in someone like Minteh from Brighton. Now we are linked with massive wingers like Olise or Kudus according to reports. I can't see us getting olise because he is way too big and seems happy at Munich.
But I will end this with 1 thing. Mo Salah will always be Liverpool.
Thanks Mo
