Spanish GP roundup

After an interesting race it's time to talk about it. Whether that is Lewis Hamilton's first win in red and his first win in 2 years, Kimi Antonelli's DNF and what happened to Charles Leclerc yesterday and today.

Lewis and Ferrari paint Cataluyna red

After what was a great weekend for Lewis he was able to get his first win red and Ferrari's first win since Mexico 2024. This was also Lewis' first win since Belgium 2024. It was a fantastic drive by the Brit was able to sucessfully undercut George Russell with him at one point catching him by a second a lap. Lewis was visibly emotional during the national anthem, you could clearly see how much it meant to him after everything Ferrari put him through last year. This will be insanely crucial for his push on Kimi Antonelli for the Championship as he now cut the lead to 41 points (no Chris Paul). Also something that isn't being spoke about enough, Lewis finished 20 seconds ahead of a Merc which is ridiculous with the Merc pace.

I have to give a shoutout to everyone at Ferrari. A team that has become notorious for messing up their drivers strategy got it spot on today. They are now in a great position to close the gap on Merc in the Constructors Championship. The entire team enjoyed watching Lewis catch george as heard in Santi's voice.

This was one of the best individual drives this season and it just proves that Lewis Hamilton is not done yet.

Kimi goes Boom

After a great overtake on George, Kimi began to build up a gap on George Russell. Then out of no where Kimi just slowed and eventually came to a stop. This must have been gut wrenching for him since Lewis has just made that gap even tighter and he no longer has that breathing room over the rest of the Grid. I believe the reason for Kimi's DNF was because of the Towel with Kim Kardashian. She must have put a spell on that thing. But all jokes aside kimi will be back in 2 weeks for Austria.

After what was one of the most traumatic weekends of Charles Leclerc racing career in Monaco, Crashing out the race. he proceeded to double up this weekend crashing in qualifing and technically crashing in the race.
